Construction of 14 prefabricated Operamed Truespace operating theaters for the new operating unit of the DEAS department of the Careggi University Hospital.

In the extreme urgencies of the Trauma Center  of  patients with multiple injuries, cardiac surgery and vascular surgery, it was necessary  to be ready to intervene with increasingly numerous professional multi-staff and increasingly sophisticated instruments and therefore  large operating rooms from 55 up to 105 square meters were made . In these rooms are contained the most sophisticated medical technologies such as the five latest generation angiographs.

Even for the modular walls of the operating room, the most resistant and long-lasting finish was chosen , with antibacterial properties on the entire panel thickness. This is the Corian DuPont self-supporting panel with a thickness of 12mm.

Very elegant decorations have been realized through the insertion of vertical glazed modules back enamelled in three color tones.

The automatic sealed doors are made of painted steel and are  decorated with large numbers  allowing to clearly identify the various operating theaters’ numbers  and  giving  a modern design to the realization.

All monitors have been integrated flush to the walls to ensure easy cleaning.

The realization was completed with the fixed equipment, surgical lights and hanging stands,  Trumpf Medical and the latest video integration system Truelink 4 Videomed.
