Type of construction: Operating block
Project status: Completed
Completion date: October 2024

At San Bortolo Hospital in Vicenza, Operamed has completed a new 80 m² hybrid operating room, delivered in approximately seven months as part of the renovation of the existing surgical block. The project was developed as a turnkey solution, integrating civil works, technological systems, and the supply of electromechanical equipment to ensure full coherence and continuity throughout every phase of execution.

The new hybrid OR was built using the TrueSpace modular prefabricated system, combining construction quality, system integration, and fast installation to create a technologically advanced, ergonomic environment designed for multidisciplinary procedures and next-generation diagnostic equipment. The intervention was carried out within an active hospital setting, requiring careful technical coordination to seamlessly integrate the new infrastructure into the existing layout while preserving the continuity of clinical workflows and patient care.

Throughout the project, Operamed leveraged its extensive experience in managing complex healthcare environments, ensuring a proactive and solution-oriented approach. The adaptability of the TrueSpace system, combined with the synergic coordination of design, engineering, and technology, made it possible to maintain high quality standards and respond accurately to the client’s requirements.

The result is a modern, safe, and state-of-the-art hybrid operating room, designed to support the needs of the public healthcare system and to accommodate the ongoing evolution of surgical practice. An environment that fully reflects Operamed’s commitment to creating efficient, functional hospital spaces ready to integrate increasingly sophisticated technologies.
