Operamed carried out the complete renovation of the operating theater at the Bambino Ges\u00f9 Children’s Hospital in Rome, located on the ground floor of the Spellman Pavilion. The new complex includes two operating rooms, preparation and recovery areas, surgeon preparation rooms, sub-sterilization rooms, and technical storage rooms.
\nThe prefabricated operating rooms were built with the highest quality materials, such as DuPont Corian\u00ae and tempered glass, to ensure durability, hygiene, and integrated design.\u2028Three sides of the rooms feature a 12 mm monolithic white Corian finish with colored inserts at the technical panels, while the patient access side is made of satin-finished tempered glass screen-printed with custom designs chosen by the project management.
\nThe rooms, classified as ISO 5, are equipped with laminar flow diffusers, Trumpf Medical wall units, stainless steel furnishings (cabinets, pass-throughs, sinks, counters, and wall units), and painted steel false ceilings. The external rooms were made of painted steel, with sanitary PVC flooring and wall coverings.
