The scope of work also included the design and installation of all systems serving the operating rooms, from electrical and mechanical systems to medical gas distribution, as well as the installation of fixed equipment.
The two operating rooms, built using the TrueSpace modular system, combine design, innovation, and functionality. The first room, nearly 50 m² in size, is intended for multidisciplinary activities, while the second, larger room is designed to become a high-technology hybrid operating room capable of accommodating complex diagnostic equipment such as CT scanners and angiography systems.
The spaces are finished with DuPont™ Corian® surfaces, technical panels equipped with power outlets and medical gas connections, wall-integrated monitors, and custom-made furnishings such as dirty utility pass-through tunnels. Automatic sliding doors and screen-printed glass panels further contribute to a more human-centered and aesthetically refined environment.
The project also included the supply of all medical equipment, including ceiling-mounted service units for anesthesiologists and surgeons, surgical lighting systems, and an advanced video integration system that allows procedures to be recorded or streamed live, supporting training and remote collaboration. Among the key innovations is Fluid & Touchless technology, which enables surgeons to manage radiological images without physical contact, maintaining the highest standards of sterility. Both operating rooms are also equipped with 2 mm lead shielding, ensuring maximum radiation protection in full compliance with current regulations.
The result is a modern, safe, and highly functional surgical hub, designed to meet the needs of the surgery of the future.

The intervention, covering a total surface area of 1,200 m², resulted in the construction of a new three-level building: the ground floor hosts a portico with logistical and access functions, the first floor accommodates the expansion of the operating block, and the second floor houses the extension of staff changing rooms.
