The New Pediatric Hospital of Veneto “Salus Pueri” represents a strategic development for regional healthcare: a 20,000 m² facility that integrates care, research, and education in an environment designed specifically for young patients. The complex includes 155 beds, 26 specialized pediatric units, and six operating rooms, one of which is preconfigured as a mini-hybrid suite.
Within this project, Operamed built the new surgical areas using the TrueSpace modular prefabricated system, ensuring construction quality, full MEP integration, and reliable execution times. The operating rooms were designed to guarantee the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and functionality, with advanced technical solutions seamlessly integrated into the hospital’s infrastructure.
A distinctive feature of the new pediatric complex is the Biophilic Design approach that guided the entire aesthetic concept. The graphics, colors, and natural references used across the different floors are also reflected in the surgical areas, contributing to the humanization of the spaces and creating a reassuring environment consistent with the overall design identity of the facility.
The result is a modern, safe operating block aligned with the hospital’s vision: highly functional spaces that integrate technology, design, and a strong focus on the well-being of both patients and healthcare staff.
