Construction of a new operating room

Prefabricated operating room in DuPont™ Corian® with ISO 5 classification, video integration, and recovery bays, delivered without interrupting ongoing surgical activities.

Thanks to the flexibility of Operamed’s TrueSpace operating room prefabrication system, a new modular operating room of excellence was created within the existing surgical block of the Giovanni XXIII Private Clinic in record time, without interrupting surgical activities in the adjacent operating rooms.
The prefabricated operating room was built with DuPont™ Corian® finishes, offering the highest standards in terms of quality, durability, and ease of cleaning. To further enhance the space, decorative glazed panels with high-resolution digital prints were integrated, contributing to a more welcoming and refined environment.
The operating room is equipped with air filtration systems featuring a laminar flow ceiling achieving ISO 5 classification, ensuring the highest level of asepsis for the most advanced surgical procedures. Each room is fitted with modular ceiling-mounted service units and state-of-the-art video integration systems with Fluid touchless displays for DICOM image visualization.
To complete the intervention, four recovery bays and one preparation bay were also created, all built using TrueSpace prefabricated modular walls, ensuring consistency in performance, hygiene, and design throughout the surgical area.
