Turnkey ISO 5 operating rooms

Construction of a prefabricated ISO 5 operating theater with four rooms and two clinics, Corian walls, and advanced lighting and scrub systems.

For the Maugeri Scientific Clinical Institutes in Pavia, Operamed created a prefabricated operating theater consisting of four operating rooms, two clinics, and related preparation and recovery rooms.
The operating rooms were built with TrueSpace modular walls in DuPont Corian®, complete with technical modules and graphic elements on glass panels. A filtering ceiling with a recirculation system is integrated into the airtight false ceiling, which has enabled the facility to obtain ISO 5 classification according to EN ISO 14644-1.
The lighting is equipped with intensity control and RGB ambient lamps, which allow customized lighting scenarios to be created according to the needs of the medical staff.
The preparation and recovery rooms were built with modular partitions in galvanized sheet metal laminated with antibacterial PVC film, while the stainless steel surgeon’s sinks are equipped with the Operamed Crono Scrub system for washing time management.
The sealed, accessible metal false ceiling ensures simple and safe maintenance.
Sealed automatic doors serve the operating rooms, while the surgical clinics are equipped with hinged doors.
A project that combines design, technology, and system performance to create highly efficient and comfortable environments.
