Toniolo Private Clinic – Bologna
Construction of a prefabricated operating block and intensive care unit
Operamed delivered, on a turnkey basis, the new operating block at the Toniolo Private Clinic in Bologna, comprising five operating rooms and an open-space Intensive Care Unit, all entirely built using TrueSpace prefabricated technology.
The operating rooms feature antibacterial painted steel wall systems, coordinated automatic doors, vinyl flooring, and hermetically sealed, inspectable suspended ceilings, designed to ensure hygiene, safety, and ease of maintenance. To enhance natural daylight, airtight opening windows were integrated, perfectly flush with the wall surfaces.
Each operating room is equipped with state-of-the-art video integration systems, dimmable LED lighting, operating tables, surgical lights, and Trumpf Medical ceiling-mounted service units, providing a technologically advanced and highly functional surgical environment.
The walls of the recovery areas and corridors were optimized to integrate custom-built recessed cabinets, with configurations tailored to each surgical specialty.
The open-space Intensive Care Unit, also built using TrueSpace prefabricated walls in antibacterial painted steel, includes an isolated station and customized furnishings, designed to meet the clinical and operational requirements of the facility.
A project that combines construction innovation, ergonomics, and attention to detail, setting new standards for efficiency and quality in healthcare environments.
