Turnkey hospital expansion

Turnkey construction of a prefabricated operating block with four Corian® operating rooms and a sterilization area, designed and built by Operamed.

As part of the expansion of the Villa Verde Multispecialty Private Clinic in Reggio Emilia, Operamed was appointed to deliver the new surgical complex on a turnkey basis, taking responsibility for detailed design, civil construction, technological systems, and the supply of medical equipment.
Using the TrueSpace prefabrication system, a new operating block was developed, consisting of four surgical rooms of approximately 45 m² each, with preparation, scrub, and recovery areas located on the first floor, and a new sterilization department on the second floor.
The prefabricated operating rooms are finished with TrueSpace modular walls in 12 mm monolithic white DuPont™ Corian®, enhanced by colored inserts corresponding to the technical panels and by screen-printed glass panels with high-resolution digital graphics on the patient entrance side. Each operating room is preconfigured for state-of-the-art video integration systems, ensuring maximum technological efficiency.
The four operating rooms are arranged around a central recovery area of approximately 30 m², open along its two long sides and enclosed by glazed modules, allowing continuous patient visibility and monitoring by the medical staff.
A project that brings together design, engineering precision, and full systems integration, setting new standards of quality and functionality for prefabricated surgical environments.
