Next Fertility GynePro Clinic, Bologna: construction of a new operating suite for Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART)

The project was carried out using the innovative TrueSpace prefabricated system, a high-performance modular solution that ensures high standards of quality, hygiene, and functionality.
The new healthcare facility, arranged over two levels for a total surface area of 1,200 m², houses the administrative offices and the entire ART department on the ground floor, while the first floor is dedicated to outpatient activities. Operamed played a leading role throughout the entire intervention, contributing to the creation of a modern, specialized environment fully aligned with the clinical needs of the facility.

A technological environment serving fertility

The ART suite includes a modern 25 m² operating room, a surgical outpatient room, a biological laboratory, and an area dedicated to seminology, as well as all the necessary support spaces, such as the scrub area for surgeons.
All areas were built using the TrueSpace system, with internal finishes in antibacterial galvanized colaminated steel—an ideal material to ensure maximum hygiene and durability, both within the operating room and in the technical areas outside the suite.
The operating room is equipped with a complete and fully integrated setup, including:

• Technical panels for the distribution of medical gases and electrical outlets
• Wall-integrated monitors
• Automatic sliding and hinged doors
• Technical ceiling with integrated lighting system
• Custom-made furnishings fully integrated into the system, including built-in cabinets, dirty utility pass-through tunnel, and instrument pass-through window
• Screen-printed glass panels for enhanced aesthetics and improved visual comfort
• Touchscreen control panel for simple, centralized management of operating room functions
• Functional and fully equipped ancillary spaces

  Areas outside the operating suite, such as the biological laboratory, the seminology area, and service rooms, were also fitted out with functional furnishings designed to ensure architectural and operational continuity with the TrueSpace modular system. The result is a highly specialized, efficient environment ready to support the clinical and biological requirements of Assisted Reproductive Technology.
