The multipurpose center, which also houses the birthing center and neonatal intensive care unit, has been inaugurated.

Turnkey construction of the new operating room at the Poliambulanza Hospital in Brescia. It consists of 12 operating rooms, 10 on the ground floor for multispecialty surgery and two on the first floor for cesarean sections. The rooms were constructed with high-quality materials, Corian and tempered glass, to ensure maximum durability. Three sides of the rooms feature the same 12mm-thick monolithic white Corian finish.

The side facing the patient entrance is made of frosted tempered glass, silk-screened with ceramic pigments.

The frosted finish was chosen to allow the use of laser-based surgical equipment. Transparent, anti-glare glass panels were integrated into the walls to accommodate 60″ 4K display monitors. Each operating room has a specific screen printing to create a welcoming and unique environment.
The project also included inspectable, highly soundproofed suspended ceilings, Corian surgical sinks with timed dispensers, and prefabricated painted steel walls on the dirty corridor side. All specialized equipment, such as surgical lights, operating tables, and overhead stands, was supplied by Trumpf Medical.
