Prefabricated surgical block

Three prefabricated operating rooms, fully refurbished sterilization and endoscopy areas: a turnkey project combining technology, comfort, and the humanization of surgical spaces.

Three new operating rooms of approximately 40 m² each, a sterilization area, and a new endoscopy service: the project transformed the surgical block into a technological, welcoming, and highly functional environment, entirely delivered on a turnkey basis.
Thanks to the expertise of our team, it was possible to optimize the layout and integrate the most advanced building services technologies into an existing structure—from mechanical and electrical systems to medical gas distribution networks.
The prefabricated operating rooms were built using our TrueSpace modular wall system, finished in DuPont™ Corian®, a choice that ensures maximum hygiene, durability, and ease of cleaning. To enhance the visual and psychological comfort of both staff and patients, the walls incorporate decorative glazed elements with high-resolution digital prints, contributing to the humanization of spaces and creating a more relaxed atmosphere.
Two of the operating rooms are equipped with air filtration systems featuring ISO 5 laminar flow ceilings, while all rooms integrate modular ceiling-mounted service units, advanced video integration systems, and Fluid touchless displays for DICOM image management.
RGB LED lighting and backlit ceiling modules with images simulating open sky views help create a serene and bright environment, improving the experience during pre- and post-operative phases. The sterilization and endoscopy areas were also completely refurbished and equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, ensuring efficiency, safety, and operational continuity.
This project demonstrates how modular prefabrication can successfully combine innovation, ergonomics, and well-being, transforming healthcare environments into spaces of high technological and human quality.
