Construction of hybrid operating rooms

Construction of six hybrid operating rooms and prefabricated ancillary areas using the TrueSpace system, with integrated technologies and Trumpf Medical equipment.

Operamed delivered the new hybrid operating rooms for the Electrophysiology and Arrhythmology Department at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato, one of Italy’s centers of excellence for cardiovascular surgery.
The project included the fit-out of six operating rooms and all related ancillary support areas, built using our TrueSpace modular prefabrication system. The intervention integrated airtight automatic doors, ambient and integrated LED lighting, steel walls and claddings, and sealed, inspectable suspended ceilings, ensuring safe, hygienic, and highly functional environments.
As part of the project scope, Operamed also provided the complete supply of Trumpf Medical surgical equipment, including modular ceiling-mounted service units, surgical lighting systems, and state-of-the-art integration solutions.
The new hybrid operating rooms were designed to meet the requirements of advanced surgery and electrophysiology and arrhythmology procedures, ensuring high performance, optimized workflows, and total operational comfort for healthcare professionals.
The result is a technologically advanced surgical complex that combines modularity, reliability, and functional design, further strengthening the institute’s clinical excellence.
