Construction of a new prefabricated surgical block with four operating rooms, sterilization areas, and ISO 5 laminar flow. Technology, hygiene, and comfort for San Marco Veterinary Clinic.

A project of excellence delivered for San Marco Veterinary Clinic, a leading center in Italy and Europe for advanced veterinary medicine. Operamed contributed to the construction of a complete surgical block, consisting of four prefabricated operating rooms, a sterile connecting corridor, and sterilization areas.
All spaces were built using our TrueSpace modular prefabrication system, which ensures construction quality, hygiene, and building services flexibility. The colaminated steel walls with antibacterial PVC film provide perfectly cleanable and long-lasting surfaces, while two operating rooms were shielded against X-ray radiation to ensure maximum safety.
Automatic HPL doors and sealed suspended ceilings are integrated with the lighting system and air diffusers, ensuring both aesthetic and functional uniformity.
Particular attention was given to the ventilation system: all operating rooms are equipped with laminar flow ceilings, and one room in particular was designed to achieve ISO 5 air quality classification, a standard typical of the most advanced surgical facilities.
The turnkey supply also included the installation of modular ceiling-mounted service units, LED surgical lights, and a state-of-the-art video integration system with Fluid touchless displays for DICOM image visualization.
The result is a highly technological, safe, and perfectly organized surgical block, where every element contributes to operational efficiency and comfort within a context of international veterinary excellence.
